At Wakefield International College (WIC) we want to make sure you get the most out of your studies and have the support available when you need it most. Our student support services is accessible on a daily basis and is personalised with one-on-one attention provided by our friendly student services and team.
1. Moodle: This is WIC’s learning hub and a key part of your studies. You will have access to our open-source learning management system for developing your academic skills through a range of useful online resources and learning guides.
2. Weekly Study Companion session: All of our trainers are available 1 day a week for students to come and ask questions or get additional help in addition to what’s provided in class. This is an excellent opportunity to gain further understand of the topics being covered in class and ensures you get the most out of your learning experience.
3. Study Room: Our study room is a quiet, bright and comfortable space just for you. It has been created with one goal in mind, to provide an area for you to focus, study and learn at your own pace – whenever you like!
4. Study Mates: Free course assistance and mentoring provided by students who have completed the course you’re studying in. They will provide you with support and assistance to help you navigate any course challenges whilst sharing their experience of how to approach the course. This is also an excellent opportunity for networking with our WIC student community and Alumni.

6. Library Service: WIC understands that no assignment is complete without research. WIC has its own student breakout zone and a library where you can find a variety of study resources to assisting you in completing your academic tasks.
1. On Arrival Airport Pick Up: Our college representatives are available to meet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation. Please note you will need top pre-book this service at least 48 hours prior to your arrival by e-mailing info@wic.sa.edu.au. We will require the following details:
2. Settling in Adelaide: Our Orientation program welcomes you to WIC and Adelaide – one of the world’s most friendly and livable cities. Our orientation program will provide you will all the information you need to make the most out of your time in Adelaide. You’ll learn about everything from how to use public transport to finding the best coffee, food and entertainment!
3. Fees and Finance: WIC students have the flexibility to pay their tuition fees on a payment plan. You can request a payment plans and/or have it changed, subject to approval. The WIC Financial team assists the students to make payments over the phone or in person and provide updated information about outstanding amounts, next payment dates, receipts for the payments and a designated payment plan for the course.
4. Request a Letter: WIC students can request letters from the college by sending their requests to info@wic.sa.edu.au. These letters include Term Break, Course Completion Letter, Enrolment Confirmation or Statement of Attainment.
5. Accommodation: WIC assists its students with several long term or short-term housing opportunities with different budgets. It may include private rentals, student rooms, lodges, homestays, hostels, or residential apartments.
6. Counselling Sessions: Counselling sessions are available to all students throughout their studies for students to get assistance in dealing with a range of issues that may arise throughout their studies. You can easily book a session with our trained counsellors who are there to support you when you need it most.
